Their name is weird (unicorn?) but their launch monitors are good. Very good. They have shaken up the world of simulator golf by releasing overhead launch monitors that compete with the big boys like the Foresight GCHawk and movable ground based systems that competed with the Bushnell Launch Pro’s and Skytrak+’s.

This guide will cover all of the Uneekor launch monitors offered at time of publication. I personally do not own or use any of the Uneekor products yet (I’d love to) so this is information and links to the things I’ve found important when looking at buying a launch monitor.

Eye Mini Lite

The Eye Mini Lite in White
The Eye Mini Lite – White Version (also comes in Black) ~$2749

The newest launch monitor on the market from Uneekor is the Eye Mini Lite.

Measuring the same 18 data points as it’s predecessor, the Eye Mini, but only lacking the heads up interface, wifi and battery.

It’s the lowest price Uneekor launch monitor on the market yet. It competes with the Bushnell Launch Pro, Mevo+ and the Skytrak+ in price point.

The main difference with the Lite version of the Eye Mini is that you have to have it plugged into the power outlet and a computer. They took the portability cost away from their Eye Mini and made a less expensive version for the people who set their launch monitors up and leave them in place. While you can pick it up and move it around, it is not portable like the Eye Mini where you can take it to the range.

Mini and Mini Lite Data Collected

Eye Mini

The Eye Mini has all the same features, bells and whistles as the Lite version but also have a battery, touch screen control and wifi. You can transport and use the Eye Mini easily with it’s battery which lasts around 5-6 hours. More than enough for multiple range sessions.

Eye XO2

Ceiling mounted with a huge hitting zone. The EyeXO2 is their latest generation overhead launch monitor. It has 3 cameras and the widest hitting zone of any of the overhead units. It’s excellent for right and left handed golfers allowing them to hit from different hitting areas, allowing setup in smaller width spaces (each player hitting offset.

You do not have to use marked balls to use the Eye XO2. It has a super wide and large hitting zone. You can set in multiple hitting surfaces (rough, sand, putting etc) and the eye xo can read a width of 28″.

Eye XO2 Data Points (Club and Ball)

Eye XO

The Eye XO offers all of the same stats and details of the Eye XO2. The only notable difference is the size of the hitting area. The Eye XO has a hitting area of 12W x 15.5L vs the XO2’s larger area of 28″W and 21″L.

The XO2 has a 3rd infrared camera vs the 2 of the XO, and this is likely the reason they have a larger hitting zone.

QED

The QED was the first overhead launch monitor offered by Uneekor. It is the least expensive of their overhead units.

The QED drawbacks to me are mainly that they require marked balls.

Uneekor Software Packages

A note about the Uneekor subscription models is that if you want to play with a 3rd party software like GSPro (and you should!) is that you have to subscribe to the Pro Package at $199 minimum. You can upgrade to the Champion package if you want to Refine+ software and GSPro. You can also have more than one profile if you have regular buddies who come over to play sim golf with you, if those things matter.

Uneekor Social / Community Information

One of the best ways to learn about the launch monitor is to visit the communities surrounding them and find out what their pain points are, if any. Here are the places I’ve found where you can learn from others who are actively and currently using the Uneekor simulators.

Where To Purchase Uneekor

Uneekor is sold through various retailers as well as direct from Uneekor. The prices should all be similar.
