Thank god I bought the Foresight GC2 shield.
One thing about the ground based launch monitors is that they do sit in the line of fire from really shitty hit shots.
Hit one off the end of the toe and drive it nearly straight to the right and your GC2 is bound to get hammered with an errant shot.
So until now I’ve been lucky enough to only have my younger kids hit a weak shot into my GC2. A little dribbler that wouldn’t hurt a flea.
Until now…
My good friends brought their wives over to play a sim round and have a few margaritas.
Well, let’s just say thank god I bought the shield.
Oddly enough, my buddy just happened to be filming when his wife hit this ‘shot’.
She put the GC2 shield to the test.
When she hit it, it made my friends heart sink. He was sure he was about to have to sell some baseball cards to replace the busted launch monitor that costs a pretty penny.
But the shield protected it and the GC2 works great just like the day I got it.
What is the Shield Made Of?
It appears to be an extremely hard plastic of some sort.
